Overview

August 31 (八月三十一号, Bā yuè sānshíyī hào) is a Chinese Yume Nikki Fangame created by Yongdao Zhiping (永岛 智平) in RPG Maker 2003. It stars Hua-Ju (华琚), a high school student(?).

Gameplay

August 31 plays like most Yume Nikki fangames except that there are some events that have dialogue with other characters, one of which will unlock a third nexus door and the debug room (interact with the middle of the dream room's painting). It seems you can do this without collecting any of the effects.

There appears to be an ending, though it is inaccessible.

Brain Water (脑进水)		Hua-Ju's head becomes a fishbowl with water in it.
Yáng yàn(?) (阳焰)		Hua-Ju becomes made of many neon lights and numbers.
Burin (刻刀)		Hua-Ju holds a burin, a chisel for engraving on tombstones.

Unused

This effect is only found in the unlockable Debug Room.
