Overview

Yume Nikki - Atari 2600 is a Spanish fangame created by Annie-Mienai in RPG Maker VX Ace. It is a recreation/demake of Yume Nikki in the style of an Atari 2600 game.

Gameplay

Yume Nikki - Atari 2600 is a traditional fangame. The player enters the dream world by sleeping in the bed. Each dream world contains five items called Togos, which will spawn an effect to be obtained by the player once all Togos are picked up. The goal is to obtain all of the effects to unlock the ending. There is no way to save.

Visible on the player's screen is a bar showing the number of effects gotten as well as a timer that counts down how many steps the player has taken. Toriningen will periodically spawn in the dream world to chase the player. If the player is caught three times, they will be sent back to the bedroom and docked 100 steps. A game over occurs if the timer runs out.
