Overview
Michi is the protagonist of the Yume Nikki fangame The Door Of Thoughts.
Appearance
Michi has black shoulder-length hair with some sanding strands. Michi has big blue eyes. Michi usually wears a white long-sleeved shirt with a red tie/scarf tied around their neck, bright green pants, and red shoes.

Personality
At first, nothing is known about Michi. However, as the player finds new effects, explores, reads dialogue, and see events, they start to understand more things about Michi.
Past
During the game you will find a diary that was most likely written by Michi. The biggest hint that points to the fact of this diary belonging to Michi is the game's ending. During it, after Michi leaves their house, the only thing you can get them to do is hang themselves by the noose on the tree. They refuse to leave the garden through its gate because they think that people will not accept them.
According to the contents of that diary:
- Michi lived in an orphanage where they were treated badly by other people. Michi was also isolated a couple of times, possibly for misbehaving or doing something a lot worse.
- Michi killed a girl with a knife for betraying them.
- Michi said that because of what they've done the only answer for them is to commit a suicide.
It can be concluded that Michi may suffer from a severe mental illness. They may be a psychopath with a split personality.
