Overview

The Red Sea is a Japanese Yume Nikki Fangame created by Akisu in RPG Maker VX Ace.

Gameplay

The Red Sea is a traditional fangame. The player enters the dream world by sleeping in the bed. Sitting at the desk while awake allows you to save. The goal of the game is to explore and find effects.

Like most fangames, there are effects and chasers, but no dialogue. The chasers in this game do not send the player to an inescapable area, however—they simply wake him up.

Plot

You play as the protagonist named Nagi, a boy who stays in his room. Nagi will back away from the door when you try to leave, implying that something occurred outside his room that makes him unwilling to leave.
