Overview

The Invisible Smoke Factory is an English Yume Nikki fangame created by Kanderwund. It was developed in Twine and Javascript for Dream Diary Jam 8 and the 2024 Neo-Twiny Jam.

Gameplay

The Invisible Smoke Factory is a point-and-click exploration game with puzzle elements. Clicking on the bed in the bedroom takes the player to the dream world. The main goal of the game is to explore the dream world and collect all of the diary pages scattered inside it. Players can move to different rooms by clicking an arrow on the screen, and interact with objects/NPCs by clicking on them.

Clicking the button at the top-left corner of the screen shows the player's inventory, also giving them the option to wake up. There is currently no save feature implemented. Players are advised to not close or refresh the game to prevent loss of progress.
