==Overview==
==Overview==
'''Ignite''' is an English Yume Nikki fangame created by [[Rye Raccoon|Forty]] in RPG Maker 2003.

Ignite is a Yume Nikki fangame created by Lucas 47-46 ([http://lucas47-46.deviantart.com/ deviantArt]). It stars [[Feutsuki]] , a black cat under quarantine. He lives in a small, run-down apartment room with a large fireplace in it. You enter the dream world by staring into the fireplace. As of now, the nexus has 3 worlds available.
On March 17, 2014, a remake of the game titled '''Ignite: Dying Flame''' was released. While it is shorter in areas and number of effects compared to the original, it improved its graphics and added several events.

The game is currently on a hold due hard-drive complications. Find more information about it at these [http://igniteayumenikkifangame.tumblr.com/post/61279808411/well-i-have-some-pretty-bad-news-the-computer-i two] [http://igniteayumenikkifangame.tumblr.com/post/63348622250/ignites-not-dead links] .

Ignite is a traditional fangame. The player enters the dream world by staring at the fireplace and saves using the notebook. The main objective is to explore and collect '''Influences''' (effects). Something unusual about Ignite is that effects are removed by selecting ''"Normal"'' from the effects menu.

There are many events in Ignite, most of them probably being about the protagonist's past, or encounters with others. Sometimes an event must be triggered to get an effect. These events are detailed and can involve other NPCs.
Feutsuki is a black cat, and all other NPCs are animals or other abstract beings.

The game tend to go toward a darker atmosphere, more toward [http://yumenikkifg.wikia.com/wiki/.flow .flow] or [http://yumenikkifg.wikia.com/wiki/Yume_Nisshi Yume Nisshi] . The events are very involved, and involve other characters too.

Many themes in the game incorporate fire related elements, it is possible Feutsuki has a possible obsession with fire, and he "wakes up" via his lighter. (9 Key)
