Overview

ALIEN DEAD is an English Yume Nikki fangame by Stenblood. It was developed in RPG Maker MZ for Dream Diary Jam 5.

Gameplay

ALIEN DEAD is a traditional fangame about collecting States (Effects) in a dreamworld and one day awakening "Some place else". Sleeping in the bed takes the player to the dreamworld.

To beat phase one of ALIEN DEAD players must traverse through one of multiple routes to reach the deepest dream. Failing to do so leads to one of three possible endings. The game also rewards the player for finding secrets.

Plot

The game begins as the player is told how to escape the dreamworld (by reaching the deepest dream). Alien, after freshly finishing the events of Alien Flowers, never does this. The game centers on how it is hard to seek out your desires if you can't even perceive them properly.
