Overview

yqriel is an English Yume Nikki fangame by buraketto. It was originally created for Dream Diary Jam 2 using the LÖVE (love2D) engine.

Gameplay

yqriel is a traditional fangame, focusing on exploration and item collection. Instead of a Nexus, the player starts in one specific area and can explore the world from there. There are numerous NPCs throughout the game to meet as well as several items that can be obtained.

Save		A radio antenna is placed on the protagonist's head. Pressing A makes the protagonist flash for a second.
Mushroom*		A giant mushroom sprouts from the protagonist's head.
Bike		The protagonist rides on a scooter. This effect increases the protagonist's speed.
Sasiel		The protagonist wears a coat and scarf. Pressing A makes the protagonist's sprite shake/flash for a second.
