Overview
Cap Boy is the main character of the game Fushichou no Yume.
Appearance
Cap Boy has medium length straight orange hair. He wears a backwards black baseball cap. The cap itself is orange on the tip and has red/orange flames coming out of the bottom. He wears a matching long sleeve shirt.
He has large, bulging eyes. He has red wings and matching red pants. His shoes are black.
In older versions of the game, Cap Boy wore a red cap that matched his pants as well as a light orange shirt.
More recent art (2018) of him depicts him as having bright yellow eyes, as opposed of the black eyes from his sprite.
Personality
Not much is known about Cap Boy's personality.
The amount and proportion of npcs with dialogue in his game, with most of them being friendly with the notable exception of Yamao, might suggest that Cap Boy is a rather sociable person however.
Past
A post in Dario's tumblr shows a bit of Cap Boy's backstory, implying that while he was born as a human, he became a part-phoenix entity after drinking an inmortality elixir.
Another post talking about the original comics the character was made for describes him (at the time when he was still a human) as "a normal 5th grade student", as well as calling him an idiot and mentioning he got regularly scolded by his father.
Not much more about his past or the reason why he's locked in his apartment are known, however.
