Overview
Analiese, spelled in-game as Analeise and nicknamed Ana for short, is the protagonist of the Yume Nikki fangame Melodia. She is the first known black girl protagonist.
Appearance
Analiese has open brown eyes and shoulder-length hair. Her natural hair color is black, but she dyes it light blue. She wears a pastel pink hoodie, a light blue skirt/shorts and pink boots.
Personality
Not much is known about Analiese's personality.
Past
For an unknown reason she locked herself up from the outside world, and wants nothing to do with it. During the game you collect melodies which remind her of the good times she had in the outside world.

According to the developer, Analiese had a twin sister named Anistasia. Something had happened to her, resulting in Anistasia becoming comatose with no chance of recovery. When the doctors took Anistasia off of life support, Analiese locked herself in her room due to grief. The angel seen in each dream world is Anistasia. The game's ending has Analiese reuniting with her sister.
