Overview

Rue is an English Yume Nikki fangame by CounterWiddershins. It was made for Dream Diary Jam 7 in WOLF RPG Editor.

Gameplay

Rue plays like a traditional fangame. Sleeping in the bed takes the player to the Dream Hub. The goal of the game is to find the owner of each dream and deliver a message. Each dream world contains collectable dream bits which can be crafted into Items using the loom in the Dream Hub. Players can save at any time from the menu. Progress on deliveries can be checked by examining the Records bookshelf in the shop.

Plot

You play as a psychic named Rue whose job is to deliver messages through dreams.

Items

Effect	Image	Description
Tarot Deck		Rue turns blue and wears a purple hood. Pressing Shift lets Rue return to the Dream Hub.
Masquerade Mask		Rue is dressed as a masquerade dancer. Equipping and unequipping this item alternates the dance outfit between a suit and a dress.
Ghostly Visage		Rue becomes a green ghost. Pressing Shift makes Rue flash for a second.
