Overview

Camera is an English Yume Nikki fangame created DomC. It was developed in Godot for Dream Diary Jam 8.

Gameplay

Camera is a traditional fangame. Players can enter the dream world by entering the photo development room next to the bedroom and pressing the Q key. The goal of the game is to explore and collect effects. Certain effects can be combined together. Interacting with the bed allows players to save.

To return to the bedroom, players must quit from the effects menu, select the Start option on the title screen, then interact with the bed.

Plot

You play as a photographer named Tom and explore strange worlds beyond your room.

Effects

Name	Image	Description
Imposter Syndrome		Tom becomes invisible save for a black outline.
Greenish Bluish Tile		Tom is made of green and blue tiling.
Death		Tom bleeds out, trailing blood on the ground.
Artist		Tom becomes more abstract-looking. This effect changes the appearance of certain areas.
Rainbow		Tom becomes a rainbow and moves faster.
Eden		Tom wears nothing but a green leaf.
Kid		Tom becomes a child.
Dog		Tom has dog ears.
Wolf		Tom has wolf ears and trails blood on the ground. A hidden effect. Can be obtained by combining the Kid and Dog effects.
Broom		Tom rides on a broom. This effect slightly increases Tom's speed, and can be combined with other effects.
