Overview

Boys Work/Boy's Work is an English Yume Nikki fangame created by nilson. It was made in RPG Maker MV for Dream Diary Jam 2.

Gameplay

Boys Work is a traditional fangame. The dream world becomes accessible after turning off the bar sign and taking out the trash. Fulfilling these tasks fills the bar with patron who serve as teleports to the dream worlds. The goal of the game is to explore these dream worlds and obtain the effects within them.

Effects are split into four categories in the menu: Innate, Extra, Trinket and Skills. Players can save from the menu.

• Open Menu/Cancel - X/Esc
• Change Movement Speed - Shift (Hold)

Plot

You play as Proteus, who serves drinks in a bar, and explore some strange worlds.

Stone Swallow		Allows Proteus to swallow stones, in turn giving you access to otherwise blocked off paths/areas.
Preperation H		Proteus turns into a partially-transparent figure.
Accutane		Proteus becomes glitched and colorful.
Exhume		Allows Proteus to dig up graves, which can reveal hidden paths.
Rash Skin		Proteus turns red. Allows you to access the red room in the Red/Blue world.
