Overview
Madotsuki's Story: Retrograde is an English Yume Nikki fangame created by Ebriosus Beati for Dream Diary Jam 2. It is a sequel to the developer's previous game Madotsuki's Story, and was developed in Construct. The game is currently unavailable for download.
Gameplay
Madotsuki's Story: Retrograde is a sidescrolling platform game. The goal is to travel through and reach the end of stage (that being a floating, flashing orb). The player's given a weapon that can be used to kill enemies and destroy obstacles. The player has three lives total. If all lives are lost, the player is brought back to the nexus/hub and must replay the stage.
Alongside enemies and obstacles, there are Relics that can be collected, which can be used to unlock other stages. There are currently a total of two stages.
Plot
You play as Madotsuki from the original Yume Nikki and explore her dreams.
