Overview

Overgrowth is a Yume Nikki fangame created by Saibibi. It was made for Dream Diary Jam 2 in RPG Maker VX Ace.

Gameplay

Overgrowth is a traditional fangame. You enter the dream world by sleeping in the bed. Your main goal is to explore the dream world and collect effects. You can save at any point from the menu.

Unlike most fangames, the protagonist can leave his bedroom and explore (to a certain extent) as well as talk with other characters. The protagonist can also move faster when Shift is held.

Plot

You play as a boy named Pumpkin, who awakens in a hospital with no memory as to how he got there. He explores his dreams to try and find his lost memories.
