Overview

Oblivion is a Yume Nikki fangame created by myrica in RPG Maker VX Ace. The original release of this game was in English and starred Ayano, and was made for Dream Diary Jam 2. A remake was released for Dream Diary Jam 4, replacing the protagonist with Carla and changing the primary language to Japanese.

Gameplay

Oblivion is a traditional fangame. The player enters the dream world by interacting with the computer. From there, the goal is to explore and collect effects. The player can save by interacting with the bed.

Butterfly (蝶)		Carla has butterfly wings and antennae. This effect increases her speed.
Wings (羽)		Carla sprouts two mismatched wings and has red eyes.
Princess (姫)		Carla is dressed like a princess.
Ponytail (ポニーテール)		Carla wears her hair in a ponytail.
Sleepwear (寝間着)		Carla wears a nightcap and pajamas.
Boy (男の子)		Carla turns into a boy.

Jelly Satellite		Ayano has satellite panels on either side of her head. This effect increases her speed.
Spirit Lantern		Ayano carries a lantern.
Crystal Dandelion		Ayano is covered in crystals.
Caramel Fork		Ayano carries a large fork as a weapon. Allows you to kill NPCs by pressing Z.
Milkyway Umbrella		Ayano has a white umbrella. Pressing Shift makes her float in the air, allowing her to go faster.
Peanut Butter Mud		Ayano is made of peanut butter and moves slower.
Sakura Tea		Ayano wears a kimono.
