Overview

Oblivion is a Yume Nikki fangame created by Beloth in RPG Maker VX Ace, originally developed for Dream Diary Jam 2.

The game has been remade twice since its release, the current version is available in Portuguese while an older version is available in Japanese.

Gameplay

Oblivion is a traditional fangame. The player enters the dream world by entering the room to the right of the hallway. From there, the goal is to explore and collect effects and items. The player can save by interacting with the computer in the bedroom.

Interact/Select - Z/Space
Open Menu/Cancel - X/Esc
Effect Action - Shift
Wake Up - Q

Plot

The game takes place in the year 2022 and has you play as Generd. After receiving a strange email and a mysterious visitor, Generd decides to stay at home to get to the bottom of things.

Version 0.01 has you play as Carla. The original version had a different protagonist in Ayano along with a food motif for some of its effects.

Wings (羽)		Carla sprouts two mismatched wings and has red eyes.
Princess (姫)		Carla is dressed like a princess.
Ponytail (ポニーテール)		Carla wears her hair in a ponytail.
Sleepwear (寝間着)		Carla wears a nightcap and pajamas.
Boy (男の子)		Carla becomes a boy.
